DIY Succulent Decoration

I went to Bunnings and bought a few bits and pieces to spruce up my home and backyard. I painted some terracotta pots which you can read about here and also I made some decorative succulents.

Succulents and cacti are all the rage at the moment because they are such low maintenance (in that they don’t need to be watered) but they still make it look like you can look after a living thing.

For this, I bought three succulents which were about $3 each and I got three glasses out of the cupboard that I don’t use anymore. You can also find little glasses/tea cups or something similar at an op shop – usually for less than $1 each.

Then, all I did was put the succulent with its dirt in the glass. That’s it. Literally.

I think they would look amazing on the kitchen window sill, on an outdoor table or on a bedside table.
