It’s no secret that we much preferred DCA over Disneyland. As a whole, we found that the atmosphere, rides and customer service was much better – which resulted in us having an awesome day.
When we first arrived in the morning it was raining, but after an hour or so – it completely cleared up and we ended up being blessed with the most incredible weather! The only downside was that we then needed to carry our jackets and ponchos around – not really a big deal.
We found that the food at DCA was awesome – we had breakfast from Flo’s V8 Cafe, lunch at Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta and dinner at Lucky Fortune Cookery. We were highly impressed with the healthy options and also the quality of the food at all these places.
The rides/attractions that either of us went on were California Screamin’, Goofy’s Sky School, The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Mickey’s Fun Wheel, Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, Radiator Springs Racers, Red Car Trolley, Soarin’ Over California, Toy Story Midway Mania! and the Silly Symphony Swings. We went on the Silly Symphony Swings a number of times – it’s so relaxing and fun! My favourite ride was the Radiator Springs Racers, which was evidently one of the most popular rides at the park. Because of this, our first point of call for the entire day was getting a FastPass for this ride (I’d advise anyone else to do the same). We also got a FastPass for the best viewing area to see the World of Colour show at night – which was also pretty incredible.
