Address/Location: San Pedro

Rooms: From $11 USD per night.

Pros: Nice garden area, clean kitchen, close to some shops. I was able to stay after I checked out.

Cons: Very noisy, room was off the living room which was sometimes awkward, bathrooms not very clean. Dirty fingernails left in my room when I arrived. Lots of drunk homeless people in the park across the street. Breakfast was pancakes (with only syrup), pineapple and strawberries – which was fairly underwhelming.

7. Hotel San Bada

I stayed here as part of the tour I did with Caravan. I might have enjoyed it more if I utilized it for it’s handy proximity to the national park which it neighbours – but unfortunately I didn’t. My room was a little dirty and not very comfortable. They did have a sweet rooftop bar and pool area though.
