The Neon Museum – Las Vegas

Here are some of the better photos taken from our afternoon at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas.

We went to the Neon Museum on a (very sunny) Saturday. When we arrived we were provided with umbrellas which we were very grateful for – as there was very little shade in the boneyard and the sun was scorching. We booked our tour one day in advance – which was lucky as all tickets for Saturday had booked out by the time we had arrived.

The tour guide we had was very informative and we learnt heaps about the history of Las Vegas. It almost made we wish that we had come here at the start of our trip rather than at the end!

“Ticket prices for day tours are $18 for general admission; seniors 65+, students, active military, veterans and Nevada residents are $12 (valid ID required for each discounted ticket: must show current ID upon arrival). Due to the broken glass and rusty metal, day tours are enjoyed best by children ages 10 and up.”

They also have night tours available, where they have restored some of the signs so that they still work.

You can find all the information you need on their website hereΒ and to book tours you can go here. I would highly recommend checking this out, as it’s a cool way to find out about Vegas without actually having to go a tour around The Strip which is super hectic. Also, they have ample free parking. I’m not sure what it’s like to get to if you don’t have a car, as we did drive. You can also check out their Facebook page for updates in case they have an event or anything else on.
