The main reason that this video is condensed into two is because for some reason my footage from day 4 of this tour was awful and scratchy.
On day 4, we went to the hanging brides in the morning where we hiked around trees and gardens. I found a cool frog at one point too, which was very well camouflaged. We had the option of doing the advanced one our walk or an intermediate one. While I would have been happy to do the longer walk, I have quite an issue with unstable bridges over heights – so I was worried about crossing the hanging bridges. I crossed three though on the shorter walk, which I was quite proud of myself for doing. It was also caught on tape for evidence!
After the hanging bridges, we went to the Leatherback Turtle Park where we watched a video about the Leatherback Turtles. Unfortunately, due to the time of year, we weren’t able to see any turtles nesting though. At this point, we walked down to the beach, but it was insanely hot and we were all quite keen to get back on the bus to go to our next lot of accommodation.
We then arrived at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Resort and Spa, which is one of the most incredible places I have ever stayed. It has an infinity pool over looking the beach and it also puts on an amazing buffet!
I spent almost all day of day 5 in the pool and on the beach until the sun and waves got the better of me. But in all, the day off to enjoy the resort was very well received.
