What I Pack in my Carry On Luggage

This is what I packed in my carry on / handbag for my flight to Costa Rica this week. All the details are below!

The Essentials:

  • Passport
  • Cash and coins
  • Sunglasses – Miss Shop Chloe Sunglasses
  • Glasses
  • Glasses case
  • Flight details
  • First accommodation details
  • Medication for the first few days of travel
  • Wallet with bank cards and identification

I like to make sure that if something were to go wrong I can get myself somewhere – whether than be via taxi or a night in a hotel. As well as being able to identify myself and pay for whatever I need to.

Electrical

  • Laptop charger
  • Phone charger
  • Universal adaptor
  • Portable phone charger
  • Earphones (Apple)
  • DS Charger
  • Not shown; laptop (MacBook Pro) & phone (iPhone 6)

I don’t think I need to explain why I pack these! They make it into my handbag rather than checked luggage because it means I can use my chargers in the airport and now that most airplanes have sockets I can charge my devices anywhere.

Toiletries

  • Deodorant
  • Hand sanitiser
  • Lip Balm
  • Comb
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Mirror
  • Gum
  • Face wipes

There is nothing worse than not freshening up when you have a heap of travel ahead of you…except for when the person sitting next to you is neglecting their personal hygiene. I think these items explain themselves!

Entertainment

  • Colouring Book
  • Pens & Pencils
  • Nintendo 2DS
  • Notepad

Sometimes I get tired of watching movies and tv shows on flights, so I always bring other things to entertain me.
